You will see in this portfolio an emphasis on “process” which explains the additional photos of plans, drawings, before-and-afters, construction shots, people involved, and stories. In engaging with clients, I strive to let the designs I work on emerge from the uniqueness of the clients, their personalities, their needs, and the exact time and place in the world that we are creating something together. Using non-industrial or recycled materials seems to always allow this to happen, since everything we use is part of a beautifully complex story that crystallizes in what we are creating together.
